Published 11/05/2010

(Jericho, Israel) - Popular Israeli dancer and choreographer Ido Tadmor recently released a series of photographs and a video inspired by and taken at the Dead Sea as part of his volunteering to promote tourism to the region. The photos, which were taken at Kalya Beach on the north side of the sea, are part of the international marketing campaign to promote the Dead Sea's advacement in the finals of the New7Wonders of Nature competition. The video, which documents the special dance created by Tadmor, will be available for view in December 2010.

"The Dead Sea is my favorite spot in Israel," says Ido Tadmor. "For me this is one of the most amazing places on earth, and it is important for me to be an active part of its care and development."

The Dead Sea is one of 27 finalists in the New 7 Wonders of Nature online competition and travelers are urged to vote by visiting www.votedeadsea.com.
