(Mt. Hood, Oregon) - The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort), a ski, spa and golf destination that sits on the western slope of Mt. Hood, is offering the Calling All Powder Hounds package for skiers and snowboarders who love dropping in on fresh powder.
As slopes threaten to open early for the season because of the pleasant news in snow conditions, this could come in handy.
Skiers and snowboarders will get cool treatment with this all-inclusive package that includes overnight accommodations in a cozy guest room, dinner and breakfast for two at Altitude restaurant (or dine-in with room service), two lift tickets to Ski Bowl or Timberline, and two 50-minute spa treatments, such as the Black Diamond Extreme Massage or Winter Glow Restorative Facial.
“The Resort is the perfect place to start a ski or snowboard getaway,” said Frank Casarez, general manager of The Resort. “Highway 26 is clear from Portland to The Resort, and we transport guests to and from the ski resort with our complimentary shuttle service. When guests are done on the slopes they have our indulgent spa to look forward to.”
In addition to spa treatments, guests can also take advantage of The Spa’s tranquil Reflections Gallery, steam rooms, fitness center, outdoor spa tub and more.
The Calling Powder Hounds package starts at $299 per night, and is available Nov. 15, 2010 through April 15, 2011. For more information or to make a reservation, visit http://www.TheResort.com or call (503) 622-3101.
The Resort at The Mountain is located at 68010 E. Fairway Avenue in Welches, Ore., at the western base of Mt. Hood.
It features activities including golf, spa, skiing, fly fishing, croquet and tennis, along with 18,000 square feet of flexible meeting and banquet space.
In 2009, The Resort completed a $14 million renovation and expansion to offer high-end accommodations and public areas that are ideal for both corporate meetings and leisure travelers.
