Resort on Mount Hood Boasts Numerous Summer Events

(Mt. Hood, Oregon) – Now that summer is in full swing, travelers will find an array of activities at and nearby The Resort at The Mountain, located in the western highlands of Mt. Hood and just 45 minutes east of Portland, Oregon. From festivals to winemaker’s dinners, these events embrace and celebrate the beauty – and of course the bounty - of the season.
July 23-24. Estacada Summer Celebration Come celebrate the Estacada area’s wealth of arts with music, dance, performers, a silent auction, art fair, foods and hands-on activities for the whole family. The ArtBack Cooperative will also be painting the mural "Fishing Celilo Falls," by lead artist John Freese. www.estacadasummercelebration.org.
July 24 and August 21. Winemaker’s Dinners. Bring your appetites and curiosity to The Resort at The Mountain and enjoy a five-course meal with wine pairings. August 27-29. 26th Annual Mt. Hood Huckleberry Festival & Barlow Trail Days. Celebrate Mt. Hood’s natural resources along with Native American and Oregon Trail history. This free festival includes music, arts & crafts, a salmon barbecue, fresh huckleberries, exhibits, tours and storytelling at Mt.
